The appeal is lodged, not just for my suspended sentence but for the verdict. I have my great solicitor to thank for that.
I also have finally had recognition for the abuse that I endured as a child; one person and one “enterprise”. I will not name them so as not to embarrass them. But the event that has defined my life, as well as my brain tumour operation, has now been seen for what it is; totally true and with evidence as well.
And, of course, I have always had my neurologist and friends who have stood by me.
Now the real work begins
It does not matter that I received a suspended sentence; although I am grateful to his honour for that, it is my integrity that is at stake and that is as important as my life itself
and I have lost 1 1/2 inches around my waist too!
