The only television that I watch is GB News, whilst I plan my very long trip.
I know that Colin Brazier is the day to day boss of GB News and I have written to him to seek help for my expedition.
Of course, GB News spends most of the day talking the Ukraine war and that is the right thing to do. But now, if you watch GB News on line, you get a “message” from GB News to donate to the DEC appeal. They say that 100% of donations go to the DEC Ukraine appeal, which is probably true but the question is as to HOW MUCH of your donations actually go to the refugees, who really need it, after the huge management salaries and other expenses are paid for.
I have no desire to gain celebrity, as I cannot stand celebrities as they are all shallow; I just wanted their help in any way that they could provide.
I even asked for one of their presenters to act as a co driver, to roughly halve the journey but they are just not interested.
They are like all media outlets nowadays; they stay in their comfortable studios, just commented on the war until they are blue in the face and then just bugger off home.
No one would have been put in danger, unless they chose to do so; it is my choice to do that but that is not the point
It just goes to show what a superficial news channel GB News really is.
