I have to say that the wind has been taken out of my sails..

I have used this company for many many years because they had great products and offer excellent customer service.

But, just recently, I have had two orders that attracted a very high level of carriage, some special spray paint and now some brake fluid.

I have been led to believe that these were considered to be dangerous products and that therefore they had to use a “specialist courier”.

The penny dropped today when I received the brake fluid and some other parts for my beach buggy. It was delivered by my usual DPD courier and there was absolutely nothing on the package to say that the contents were in any way dangerous.

So, I have come to the conclusion that it is not the couriers that are ripping me and others off but it is actually the ultimate supplier, in this case Car Builder Solutions.

I am always loyal to suppliers, especially those who give great customer service but am now blown away by what they have been doing for so long

I have a mindset that when I get betrayed or let down, it screws up my mental health and so, for the moment, cannot say anymore.

Having calmed down now, there is really nothing more to say, other than the fact that CBS are aware of this post and will publish any response in its entirety, in the interest of balance, subject to WordPress rules.

This is my supposition and I should state that CBS are not the only ones; there are any others that I have come across.

As a test, I bought some brake fluid on Amazon. No issues whatsoever with shipping and, as I have Prime, it is free. It will be here in a few days.
