Let me be plain; the government know everything about Omicron. They know that it is not as dangerous as Delta and the reason that the government are doing what they are doing is purely political.
Take Johnson’s recent statement. ” We are not going to cancel Christmas but we suggest that you keep social distancing”; I am paraphrasing. What that statement did was to put the fear of god up people but the way that he worded it was not to actually ban people going to restaurants, pubs and bars but the actual effect was for people to get so scared that they cancelled all of their pre Christmas parties. If he had banned it, the government would have had to provide financial assistance, especially to the hospitality sector that has been used as a sacrificial lamb throughout the pandemic
What that bastard is doing is to sacrifice the entire economy for the sake of his premiership; he is a narcissist and will do everything and anything to ensure that he is kept in power.
ALL of the actions and statements that he has made or said are pure diversionary tactics, to cloak all of his cock ups.
At the end of the day, Omicron will turn out to be a damp squib. Yes, it is highly transmissible but is certainly not deadly and we will just have to live with it; this is all about government control.
If it was all so bad, why is that the Premiership have not implemented a circuit breaker, even though a third of the football players are not vaccinated?
