I was up very early and was waiting for the Great British Breakfast to start.
First off, the national lottery advert played about 6 times and the adverts after that went to about 6.05. Then Simon McCoy and Kirsty Gallaher appeared. Kirsty was reaching for her phone. From the outset, I could see that the chemistry between them had changed.
Either the two of them have had a massive row or that Kirsty is very upset for some reason. I overheard Kirsty talking on her phone and then it was just all Simon McCoy. Being the consummate professional, Simon has just carried on.
