I have just had my first delivery from Sainsbury’s as I have got fed up with Morrisons; the plastic bad con, substitution con et all
I told the Sainsbury’s driver as to why I ditched Sainsbury’s with respect to the plastic bag con “BECAUSE OF COVID”.
These were his words “that is stupid, they pick the items off the shelf, stick them in the bags and then give them to you , even if you did not want the bags and charge you for them; it is ridiculous. ” I had assumed that all of the supermarkets had done the plastic bad con but, based on what he said, this was not the case.
So, I am now more enthused to sue them for a great deal of money for breach of contract in giving me plastic bags when I did not want them and then refusing to take them back for a refund.
£400,000 plus the cost of the bags and their removal; should do it.
