Quite frankly, this testing regime in the UK is becoming an absolute joke. Not only do they have to take multiple tests in the first place, but they are being ripped off too. Many low earning families save up for years for a holiday and then they are hit with these expensive PCR tests.
As far as I am concerned, this is the case of “jobs for the boys”, as many of the PCR companies are linked to the Conservative party and lets face it, this pandemic is a great excuse for the government and suppliers, associated with the Conservatives, to rip off the public.
What is the alternative? The alternative is for Brits to have a “staycation”, where prices have gone through the roof and those low earners cannot afford these either. So, they are stuck between a financial rock and a hard place; getting ripped off by UK hoteliers or static homes holiday parks or being ripped off by the PCR testing companies.
