Bob Seeley and the Afghan crisis

I am not just touched by the crisis; I am very upset about what has gone on, to the extent that I can think of little else.

The key now is to get all of those who want to leave, out of Afghanistan and that will require living space.

I have an unused field that is part of my property and I have felt such profound feelings about what is going on that despite wanting to live on my own and have agoraphobia, I wrote to Bob Seeley offering my field for temporary housing for the Afghans.

I did not, as usual, receive a reply from him but did receive an email from a Alex Fynney, a Seeley researcher. All he could come up with was this: “Thank you for your email and your kind offers of assistance. These have been duly noted.” What a lackluster response and, as I said, nothing from Bob Seeley himself.

He goes on GB News as a “veteran” and spouts about this and that but it is all meaningless; he is meaningless. He could have quite easily have responded to me personally, which he has never done, saying “what a great idea, will be in touch”.

It is not as though he was “out of contact”, as we all know that nearly every MP is glued to his/her phone or tablet.

He has never helped me personally, coming up with multiple excuses but this is not for me; it is for those in grave peril.

But whatever it is, he does not care, as do little in the Westminster bubble
