I am watching “This week”, fronted by Isabel Webster, with a chap called Danny, who I have only known as a second hand car salesman, nothing wrong with that; they can make a lot of money, good for them. But he is referred to as “a broadcaster and journalist”
On comes Rebecca Hutson, who I liked a lot when she was on with Bradley Harris, when they were both standing in for Alastair Stewart, who is recovering from an operation; they worked very well together I hope that he gets better soon.
Her first story was about a man (Jack Jarvis) who was rowing across the Atlantic. He is doing what no one has done before. She forgot to mention that he was an ex soldier and is rowing from North America to Portugal, something never done before. She had all of the information, as Ellie Costello, from GB News, interviewed him three days ago!
Given that she is the head of digital, it does not take much effort to get the facts right.
I am sure that she is a lovely lady but her affected voice, which has been mentioned on line more than once before, as well as her lack of research, does not do her justice
