Sticking together through adversity

My last few posts have been about Car SOS, in fact about the two presenters.

But one thing comes out especially about Car SOS; that through adversity, these families have stuck together.

Everyone knows that life can be difficult at times, lots of highs and lows.

When I got married both times, I meant it when I announced my promises to the congregations and to my two wives, I meant every word, through thick and thin, til death us do part.

But, as soon as life got difficult for number 1 and 2, they both wanted a change; the first by destroying the marriage through adultery and the second by buggering off on Christmas Eve. So much for their promises, eh?

When watching all of the families on Car SOS, when the husband or wife has got ill, the other half has not buggered off but, instead, have devoted their lives to looking after their partners.

Don’t you think that is so very special in this day and age, in our throw away society?
