Ready Player One – The faults

Please do not get me wrong, it was a very clever film dusted with the magic of Spielberg.

But, yet again, it fell into the normal stereotypical traps.

In this global world, there are many people from all different walks of life in every country. People seek different things and there is nothing wrong with that.

Why did Simon Pegg have to have an American accent? It was totally unnecessary but typical of the egotystical yanks. In Star Trek, he had a Scottish accent, so why not here?

And why did the really bad guy have to be a man? That was unnecessary too, even though he had a woman side kick.

Even though it was a very clever film, with very clever and expensive lip sync, these two issues spoilt it for me.

For that reason, I will be deleting it from my Sky Box and not watching it again
