“Do you know who I am?”

Sadly, you hear this quite a lot these days. “Celebrities” wanting to get into a fancy restaurant or club and the person who is admitting people does not recognise the “celebrity”.

Even the “who can do no wrong” Paul McCartney uttered those words a few years ago.

Quite frankly, it is terribly arrogant. Just because someone has money and is famous, they expect to jump to the front of the queue; how bloody ridiculous.

Yes, they have been successful; good on them but quite frankly, I despise them. One should earn respect from someone, not expect it. They are just like you and me. They need air to breath, they need food for sustenance and they go to the toilet, just like you and I do.

I will respect someone for being a good singer, musician or actor but that still does not give them any right to push their weight around, does it?
