Murdoch Mysteries is so very shallow and so female gender biased

Yes, I have talked about this many times before and will continue to talk about it until I see some changes

In the episode called “Evil Eye of Egypt”, there is not only major gender bias but hypocrisy. The woman who portrayed a doctor of archaeology (very attractive of course) criticised the man who led the expedition for making the exhibition into a show but on take 2 of the exhibition, she dressed up as an Egyptian queen (or something similar) for the show; what a fucking joke.

Men are constantly belittled, as is Murdoch himself, and the baddies are always men. Of course, the attractive Egyptian lady “sails off into the sunset” at the end of the episode.

Yes, Murdoch Mysteries is supposed to be a tongue in cheek drama but it is all designed to titilate the audience; even all and I mean all of Constable Crabtree’s followers, who burst into the Police station, were women.

It is just so very shallow but sadly a reflection of most, if not all, dramas that are made today, joke or not.

I have had a lot of visitors from Canada and I can guess who they actually are; it is the Murdoch Mysteries production team and researchers.

Let’s hope that they take notice but I doubt it, as in the end, it all comes down to money and certainly not the quality of a drama, jokey or not.
